The President of Aragon, Luisa Fernanda Rudi, held a meeting with the mayor of Ejea de los Caballeros, Javier Lambán, and the president of Future Pipe, Fouad Makhzoumi, to discuss the company's plans following its recent acquisition of Protesa, a Spanish manufacturer of fiberglass pipes. Protesa which has its headquarters in Barcelona, Spain, with facilities in Zaragoza, Spain; Pune, India and Jorf Lasfar, Morocco. Earlier that morning, representatives of FPI led by the Chairman Fouad Makhzoumi, visited the Protesa factory in Ejea, which employs about 100 workers.
During the visit Mr. Makhzoumi said: " The Protesa acquisition is a major strategic addition to our business. This is the second acquisition of this type this year after we have completed the acquisition of Specialty Plastics, Inc. in Louisiana in April 2013. Protesa adds considerably to our ability to service our clients particularly in the water, desalination, industrial and infrastructure sectors in Europe, North West Africa and Latin America as well as provide FPI with its first manufacturing facility in India".
"We are delighted to welcome FPI in Ejea" said Javier Lambán, the mayor of Ejea de los Caballeros. "This is excellent news because it diversifies the local economy and more importantly creates new job opportunities ".

FPI offers a full range of products and solutions for complex engineering projects and a wide variety of applications in the oil and gas, marine, industrial and infrastructure.
