GRP / GRV
FIBERBOND® Jet Fire Rated (JF) series a special Glass fiber Reinforced Vinyl Ester (GRV) pipe system that can withstand fire temperatures of up to 1200 Degrees Celsius (2190oF). Suitable for applications which demand high fire resistance, FIBERBOND® Jet Fire Rated (JF) series helps to ensure the safety of offshore platforms, onshore and oil refineries.
Building upon our proven technology, FIBERBOND® Jet Fire Rated (JF) series is the proven solution for above ground fire mains, it can withstand fire exposures for combined dry and flowing conditions for up to 60 minutes.
FIBERBOND® Jet Fire Rated (JF) series pipes and fittings range from 2” to 24” in diameter, in both standard and conductive, and can withstand pressures up to 232 Psig (16 Barg) and service temperatures up to 185 oF (85oC).
FIBERBOND® Jet Fire Rated (JF) series includes a number of sub-series designed to meet extreme fire endurance per IMO A.753(18) Level 3 and USCG PFM 1-98 requirements::
FIBERBOND® (20JF) – Designed in conformance to IMO A.753(18) L3 fire endurance and United States Coast Guard (USCG) Policy File Memorandum (PFM) 1-98 requirements. Suitable for pressures up to 200 Psig (13.8 Barg) and temperatures up to 185 oF (85oC) for sizes up to 12”. In addition to USCG type approval, this product sub-series is also accredited and approved by ABS for sizes up to 10”.
FIBERBOND® (20JF16) – Designed in conformance to IMO A.753(18) L3 fire endurance and United States Coast Guard (USCG) Policy File Memorandum (PFM) 1-98 requirements. Suitable for pressures up to 232 Psig (16 Barg) and temperatures up to 185 oF (85oC) for sizes up to 24”. In addition to USCG type approval, this product sub-series is also accredited and approved by ABS for sizes up to 24”.
FIBERBOND® (20JF-C) – Is identical to (20JF) sub-series, however, with the addition of having an electrically conductive exterior. This product sub-series is accredited with the same accreditations of 20JF.
FIBERBOND® (20JF16-C) – Is identical to (20JF16) sub-series, however, with the addition of having an electrically conductive exterior. This product sub-series is accredited with the same accreditations of 20JF16.
FIBERBOND® Jet Fire Rated (JF) series is the ideal pipe system for Deluge Systems, Marine & Offshore applications requiring IMO A.753(18) Level 3 in dry/flowing water condition, and offshore installations per USCG PFM 1-98.
