FIBERSTRONG® Conductive series is manufactured using a thermosetting resin system, Polyester or Vinyl Ester, where the conductive carbon fiber glass is introduced into the glass fibers plies and layers. The resulting pipe has a chemical and high corrosion resistance as well as excellent mechanical, physical, thermal and conductivity properties.
FIBERSTRONG® Conductive Series typically range from 2” (DN 50 mm) up to 48” (DN 1200 mm) in diameter for internal-to-external conductive helical filament wound pipe system. And from 3” (DN 80 mm) up to 160” (DN 4,000 mm) in diameter for external-to-external conductive continuous filament wound pipe system – designed to withstand pressures up to 32 Barg (465 Psig) and temperatures up to 85oC (185 oF).
FIBERSTRONG® Conductive series is the ideal pipe system for fluids and environments where static charges are built-up necessitating discharge through a conductive material in onshore or offshore platform applications, for both underground and above ground installations.
