Resistant to Embrittlement

FPI GRE-RTR is fully resistant to the effects of hydrogen embrittlement up to 100%. Therefore, future proofing new installations.

Extremely Low Permeation

Due to its high density FPI GRE RTR is extremely resistant to the hydrogen permeation. When compared to the equivalent carbon steel rates FPI GRE-RTR is at least 10 times lower based on independent research.

Corrosion Resistance

Corrosion can be caused by a variety of factors in any pipeline application however with the production of Blue hydrogen contamination can be carried over from the process leading to corrosion. This potential for corrosion is eliminated through the use of FPI GRE-RTR.
