Mrs. May Makhzoumi, FPI Board Member, receives a new title “Special International Envoy in the Field of Humanitarian Diplomacy” from the Regional Network for Social Responsibility.

Congratulations to our board member May Makhzoumi on the new title "Special International Envoy in the Field of Humanitarian Diplomacy" from the Regional Network for Social Responsibility and will join the list of influential leading figures in the fields of humanitarian and charitable work.

In the opening session, the International Center for Humanitarian Diplomacy, a member of the Regional Network for Social Responsibility – based in Bahrain, honored Mrs. May Makhzoumi, President of Makhzoumi Foundation in Lebanon, in recognition of her efforts, and awarded her the title of Special International Envoy for Humanitarian Diplomacy, in recognition of all her progress in the fields of humanitarian, charitable and community work at both levels national and international. Mrs. Makhzoumi would be the first Arab woman to receive this title.

The President of the International Center for Humanitarian Diplomacy, Ms. Moudhi Al-Buainain, affirmed that they are “confident that entrusting Mrs. May Makhzoumi with this humanitarian and professional mission will contribute to enhancing the quality services for professional humanitarian work in the Arab countries.”
