In a remarkable display of innovation and expertise, Future Pipe Industries (FPI) recently took center stage at the prestigious Middle East Corrosion Conference 2023 (MECC2023) held in Bahrain from November 13th to 16th. The event served as a platform for FPI to exhibit its solutions and share insights on the forefront of non-metallic materials in the oil and gas industry.

Our Product Manager, Ralph El-Mir, was a speaker and his talk, titled “Revolutionizing Non-metallic GRE Tubulars in Downhole Applications: First Deployment of Hybrid Coupler in a Geothermal Well – Case Study,” showcased FPI’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of technology in challenging downhole applications. The paper, was also co-authored by our Senior Product Manager, Ghassan Zein and Technical Manager, Adil Al Mahasna and detailed the deployment of a carbon fiber coupler in a geothermal well located in Europe.

During his engaging presentation, Ralph El-Mir emphasized how FPI is pioneering the use of non-metallic Glass Reinforced Epoxy (GRE) materials, shedding light on our dedication to expanding the Non-Metallic envelope in the industry.
