Environmental Product Declarations (EPD)

Future Pipe Industries is committed to sustainability in its products and their use. In support of this commitment, we are pleased to share Environmental Product Declaration for Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP/GRE) Pipe and Fittings. EPD is based on a Life Cycle Assessment and follow the international standard ISO 14025 (Type III Environmental Declarations) and EN 15804.

Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is an independently verified and registered document that communicates transparent information about the life-cycle environmental impact of products such as product’s carbon footprint, and its potential impact on global warming, ozone depletion, acidification of land and water, eutrophication (an impact of water pollution), photochemical ozone creation, and the depletion of abiotic resources. Additionally, it includes other pertinent health-related impacts.

EPDs are increasingly gaining global recognition in building environmental rating schemes, including Green Code, Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED-United States) etc. Having an environmental product declaration will help us boost the global ratings and gain recognition among clients and potential customers.

Our EPD is independently verified by the LCA studio and global recognition is ensured by being part of The International EPD® systems, a member of ECO Platform.

The EPD has been published on The International EPD® platform. Visit their website here or click here to download a copy.
